We are looking for a Laboratory Manager at the Jafurah Desalination Plant to ensure top-quality water and compliance with WHO standards, leading lab operations with excellence and precision.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily laboratory operations. Lead the sampling program and ensure accurate physico-chemical and microbiological analyses. Implement and monitor laboratory QA/QC procedures. Coordinate with external laboratories when required. Ensure compliance with WHO drinking-water standards and Employer requirements. Maintain, calibrate, and optimize laboratory equipment. Supervise, train, and support laboratory staff. Provide clear reporting and collaborate with plant operations to ensure sustainable performance.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.3-4 years of experience in quality control laboratories (water, environmental, food, or industrial sectors). Strong knowledge of titrimetry, spectrophotometry, gravimetric methods, and other standard analytical techniques. Basic knowledge of microbiological analyses. Proficiency in sampling and sample preparation. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience in water quality or environmental laboratories preferred. Inmediate availability.
