About the Role / Role Overview The Senior Architectural Engineer will oversee the architectural aspects of a major government airport project, ensuring compliance with design standards, technical specifications, and international best practices. The role involves leading design reviews, supervising on-site works, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes over a contract duration of 36 months. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design development and ensure alignment with project requirements. Review, coordinate, and enhance master plans and architectural concepts. Supervise on-site architectural activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes. Conduct design and technical evaluations, ensuring quality and accuracy. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout all design and construction phases. Prepare reports, technical documentation, and progress updates. Utilize professional architectural tools and software including Auto CAD, Revit, and BIM. Requirements Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred. Experience Minimum 12 years of solid experience in mega projects (with attested certificates). At least 4 years as a Senior Architectural Engineer on government airport projects in the GCC. Skills & Attributes Strong expertise in architectural design, master planning, and supervision. Professional proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, BIM, and other architectural design tools. Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and Arabic . Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
