Job Overview:
The Chief Communications Officer (CCO) will lead the still evolving Strategic Communications function, shaping strategies that elevate the client’s reputation, drive public trust, and deliver measurable health and policy outcomes.
As a trusted advisor, the CCO will oversee high-impact initiatives, align communications and strategic priorities, and pioneer a bold vision for innovation and excellence in communications and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and lead the Strategic Communications and Impact (SCI) function within the organization, recruiting top-tier talent and building a high-performing team.
• Serve as the primary advisor on all strategic communication, policy engagement, and public relations matters.
• Design and deliver integrated, multi-channel strategies under Vision 2030 and beyond.
• Strengthen relationships with domestic and international stakeholders, including media, to amplify key messages and build public trust.
• Spearhead a bold, innovation-driven approach to communication and engagement, integrating data insights, digital platforms, and storytelling techniques.
• Leverage behavioral insights and global best practices to design initiatives with measurable impact on public attitudes and actions.
• Pioneer methodologies that set new benchmarks for strategic communication in the healthcare
• Lead crisis communication strategy, ensuring transparency, clarity, and public trust during health emergencies.
• Act as the principal spokesperson in high-pressure situations, providing clear, trusted, and timely information.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team, ensuring best practices are embedded across all initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Create platforms for sharing insights, campaign outcomes, and best practices within the HMO and with external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 15+ years of executive-level experience in strategic communications, public relations, or global advocacy roles.
• Experience driving organizational transformation, including establishing new teams, structures, and operational models.
