Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tax Counsel for our Tax and Benefits Practice within the Law Organization of This Company. Law is responsible for providing legal counsel and advisory services to This Company's business units, subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing facts and conducting legal research
- Preparing legal analysis and opinions
- Planning tax-efficient structures for major projects
- Advising and making recommendations to Company management on tax and legal issues
- Reviewing current legislation, treaties, and governmental regulations relevant to Company operation
- Advising Law Organization management and senior-level attorneys on these matters
- Assisting and coordinating with: Outside counsel and accounting firms for ongoing transactions
- Providing responses to inquiries related to tax examinations of This Company and its subsidiaries
Requirements:
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- JD or equivalent from a recognized and approved university
- Admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or country of citizenship
- LL.M. in Taxation is a strong advantage
- 5+ years of experience required
- Experience in at least one of the following:
- Leading US law firm
- Big 4 accounting firm
- In-house tax department of a multinational company
