Job Summary:
The Food Technician at Heenat Salma Farm will work closely with the Head Chef and the Agriculture Team to develop innovative food products suitable for market release. This role requires a blend of technical skills in food science and a creative understanding of culinary arts, focusing on utilizing farm-grown ingredients to create sustainable and marketable food items.
Scope of Work:
The Food Technician will be expected to manage multiple product development projects from conceptualization through to market launch. They will develop new food products by integrating agricultural outputs from the farm with innovative culinary practices. The role includes ensuring that all product developments are sustainable, economically viable, and aligned with consumer preferences and market trends.
This position is pivotal in bridging the gap between traditional farming, culinary innovation, and market requirements, helping Heenat Salma Farm to become a leader in farm-based, sustainable food products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- with the Head Chef to create and refine recipes using ingredients produced on the farm.
