The Project Engineer will be part of a project team functionally reporting to a Project Manager for a specific client's contract. The primary role is to ensure successful delivery of digital projects as planned and to the client's satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
Develop, review, execute, and monitor project execution plans and delivery schedules.Work closely under the guidance of the Project Manager, Delivery Engineering Manager, and Delivery Specialists to ensure projects are executed as planned.Oversee and lead all phases of project activities, including design, configuration/build, deployment, testing (e.g., F.AT, UAT, SAT, PAT), site commissioning, and closure/hand-over.Identify and validate any scope changes, ensuring adherence to Change Control procedures.
Monitoring and Reporting
Develop and present project progress updates, including key performance metrics such as SPIs and CPIs.Continuously monitor project performance indices and highlight risks or potential deviations in schedule, cost, or quality.Conduct recurring meetings with client personnel onsite to ensure alignment and address concerns during project execution.
Quality Assurance and Improvement
Ensure all designs and outputs meet business needs and industry standards.Formulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost efficiency, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes.Evaluate existing tools and methodologies, providing recommendations for improvement.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Review and certify invoicing activities with clients and suppliers.Assess the capabilities of vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality project management services.
Training and Standards Development
Provide project management training to develop junior engineers and enhance team capabilities.Contribute to the creation of standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures as required.
Problem-Solving and Leadership
Lead internal or external problem-solving initiatives as directed by management.Actively participate in developing solutions to challenges encountered during project execution.
General Responsibilities
Maintain alignment with company objectives and uphold the code of conduct.Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably requested to support project success.
Profile
Education: BSc degree in engineering computer-related field.
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in digitalization and software projects.
Digitalization Project Management: Demonstrated experience in digitalization/software development life cycle, and the wider principles of project management. Holds PMP certification or equivalent.
Project Planning & Scheduling: Working knowledge of planning/scheduling methods such as CPM, PERT, crunching, etc.
Agile/Scrum: Holds certifications demonstrating knowledge and flexibility to apply emerging modern approaches.
Software Experience: Certified in at least 1 MOM application/component (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI, etc.)
Contractual Knowledge: Ability to consult client contractual documentations to ensure compliance especially regarding schedule, cost/financial, and quality.
