What You’ll Be Doing
As Financial Controller, you are responsible for the financial administration and reporting for the Mammoet Saudi Branch. With your financial background and experience, you will collaborate closely with all departments. You provide analysis of financial and accounting information, and you will ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. To improve accounting and reporting systems, you establish control procedures. Being someone with broad and in-depth knowledge, you always are on the outlook for the improvement of financial standards and procedures within our department and/or organization.
Financial reporting
- Leading position in month-end closing.
- Discuss results in collaboration with the Finance Manager and department heads.
- Ensuring accounting information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Advise the organization with regard to the financial administration.
- Monitoring of the Key Control Indicator Dashboard and leading the actions to follow up on improving the outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Financial planning & budgeting
- Monitor the financial performance of cost centers against the budget!
- Assist in preparing annual budgets by integrating inputs from departments.
- Ad-hoc analyses and involvement in improvement projects as requested.
What You’ll Need
- Professional level experience in accounting, finance reporting standards (including IFRS and GAAP) and MS Office suite.
- Experience in taxes VAT -WHT-CIT-Deferred tax
- Hands-on experience in SAP.
- Proficiency in financial software, contract analysis, and data analysis tools.
- Possess interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
Education & Experience
We are looking for candidates with at least a master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline. Also, you have at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or Financial Control.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is Advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations
- Proficient in financial analysis and strategic planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Arabic speaking preferred
