- Minimum one year of experience in a similar safety officer role within the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the MENA region
- Proficient in conducting safety inspections, implementing safety programs, and monitoring safety management systems
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety.
- Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)
Job-Specific Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the use of safety management software and data analysis tools
- Good understanding of construction equipment, materials, and processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
