Responsibilities



  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan for international cooperation aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management on international affairs matters, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strategic partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of international cooperation efforts, including government officials, diplomatic representatives, and international organizations.
  • Represent the organization at international forums, conferences, and negotiations, advocating for the organization's interests and promoting its values.
  • Policy Advocacy: Gaining relevant experience in international business, monitor and evaluate international developments, trends, and policies that may impact on trade operations, investments, and economics.
  • Keep up to date on political, economic and social developments at the national and international levels.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
  • Program Development: Design and oversee international cooperation programs and projects.
  • Ensure programs meet all the requirements and align with best practices in international development.
  • Manage committees and work with partners to implement projects and programs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of dedicated to international cooperation efforts.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development.




Qualifications


  • Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in International Affairs & Corporate Communications and International Relations consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Bilingual – English and Arabic is a must.
  • Presentation-development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills (including effective questioning, critical thinking, client management, etc.)
  • bachelor's degree Business Administration or International Relations any relevant qualification, would be advantageous.
