Job Purpose
Manage development and implementation of the digital and social media strategy and promote RCU brand through effective digital and online distribution channels, direct the evaluation and ensure adequate implementation of the most effective digital marketing and communication channels to promote the RCU brand and messages.
Functional Responsibilities
1- Direct the evaluation and ensure adequate implementation of the most effective digital marketing and communication channels to promote the RCU brand and messages.
2- Ensure the effective and innovative usage of digital marketing and communication channels such as web, social media, mobile in order to expand the reach and impact of RCU’s channels.
3- Ensure the effective administration in liaison with Technology and ensure its effectiveness through the deployment of analytical tools. Ensure the site’s functionality, design and content adhere to international best practices and RCU style and content standards.
4- Ensure the enablement of all forms of social media applications, including blogs, social networking sites, discussion boards, pod-casts/vod-casts, search engines and more by engaging with each online community.
5- Direct the monitoring of social media to analyze AlUla associated feedback, comments and blogs and activate RCU led responses to positively impact public opinion and ensure adequate reporting on success rate and outcomes.
6- Ensure an efficient and effective system is in place to manage all RCU digital marketing and communication platforms, keeping in mind AlUla’s global audiences.
7- Advise on CEO and executive online positioning strategies, plans, content and activations.
8- Develop and implement an online influencer strategy to raise AlUla’s profile among key audience segments and influencers in target markets globally.
9- Performs any other job related duties as required by the direct manager.
Managerial Responsibilities
1- Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.
2- Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.
3- Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
4- Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.
5- Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.
Qualifications:
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Marketing, Digital Marketing or relevent filed (Masters Degree preferred)
Work Experience
- 8 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial role.
Other Requirements
- Written and Oral proficiency of Arabic & English languages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Familiarity with standards, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Maintains a high standard of professionalism, presentation, personal integrity, and customer support.
