Digital Transformation Supervisor

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

6 Years

4–6 years of experience in digital transformation, IT project management, or related roles, preferably within the public sector.

Certifications in digital transformation, project management (PMP, Agile, etc.), or related fields would be a plus.


Responsibilities:

Will play a crucial role in leading the digital transformation initiatives within MODON. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of digital strategies, improving services, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the authority adapts to modern technologies. This role involves collaborating with various departments, understanding operational needs, and applying innovative solutions to optimize processes.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development and Implementation:

- Develop and execute digital transformation strategies in alignment with the authority’s goals.

- Lead projects that integrate digital tools and platforms to improve public service delivery.

- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and new technologies to streamline government operations.


2. Project Management:

- Oversee the execution of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

- Collaborate with IT teams, external vendors, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of digital initiatives.

- Monitor the progress of ongoing digital transformation projects and make necessary adjustments.


3. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Serve as the main point of contact between departments and digital transformation teams.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and clear understanding of digital initiatives.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status and impact of digital transformation efforts.


4. Change Management:

- Lead change management efforts, ensuring that employees and stakeholders are prepared for new digital tools and processes.

- Facilitate training and workshops to upskill staff in using new technologies.

- Address any resistance to change and ensure smooth transitions for departments undergoing digitalization.


5. Governance and Compliance:

- Ensure that digital transformation initiatives comply with government policies, regulations, and cybersecurity standards.

- Monitor and mitigate risks related to the implementation of new digital systems and technologies.


6. Data Management and Analytics:

- Promote data-driven decision-making within the authority by implementing digital tools that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting.

- Supervise the use of data analytics to improve services and drive operational efficiencies.


Professional Skills:

1. Technical Proficiency:

- Strong understanding of digital technologies, automation tools, cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging tech such as AI or blockchain.

- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and digital platforms used in government operations.


2. Project Management:

- Proficiency in managing digital projects, including experience with project management software and methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


3. Leadership and Communication:

- Excellent leadership skills to supervise digital transformation teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders at all levels.

- Capability to translate technical language into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
