On behalf of our esteemed client, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This prestigious holding company is renowned for its significant contributions to the construction and real estate sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Position Overview:
The CFO will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the fiscal integrity of the organization. This position demands a seasoned professional who can manage all financial aspects of the company, guarantee its financial health, and actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the C-Suite level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to secure long-term financial health and operational sustainability.
- Provide strategic insights and contribute to the executive management team and board of directors on financial planning initiatives.
- Financial Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for executive management and the board.
- Lead the budgeting process, ensuring meticulous preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets across all departments.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage financial risks, instituting robust controls to protect the company’s assets.
- Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Capital and Investment Oversight:
- Manage the company's funding needs, optimize investment activities, and maintain an efficient capital structure.
- Continuously monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Inspire and cultivate a high-performing team that drives the company’s financial success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Professional Experience:
- Over 18 years of finance experience, with at least 8 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
- Previous experience as a board member or in a similar capacity is advantageous.
- Core Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of corporate finance, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to think long-term and contribute to strategic decisions.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, leveraging technology for efficient financial management and reporting.
