Job Purpose

Responsible to manage the design and implementation of physical security design to meet the operational security strategy, policies and procedures and ensure alignment with RSG design guidelines, local regulations / guidelines, international standards, and industry best practices to support the development of a secure environment on assigned projects within RSG.

Job Responsibilities - Leadership

• Responsible for Security Design, Project and Contract Management, Site Supervision.
• Review all threat and risk assessments, Concept and Detailed Master Plans for various projects and ensure the process and physical security design align with RSG guidelines and specs, local regulations / guidelines, international standards, and industry best practices.
• Responsible for end-to-end project considerations for respective programs, assisting a team of in-house and contracted staff to implement major projects.
• Be an SME for physical security methodology, treatments, and applications, Security Management practices, Video Surveillance systems, Intruder Detection Systems, Security Operations Control room methodology and applications.
• Ensure that there is adequate liaison and understanding of RSG Security requirements between RSG contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities - Functional

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Quality & Environment

• Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement  

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements - Skills

• Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage a functional team and manage budget.

• Awareness of and ability to demonstrate experience with implementation of best practices related to the utilization of physical security design.

• In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.

• Be well versed with Physical Security Design Practices.

• Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.

• Ability to adhere to Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and work requirements.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

• Relevant qualifications in security related disciplinees.

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience required in a project manager and scope/specification development role of a medium-to-large scale project.

• Relevant experience at managing multiple, diverse projects in Middle East required.

• Extensive experience in the security field, specific to Physical Security design.

• Extensive experience in the preparation of security design guidelines and specifications.

• Good experience as a security program manager.
