Job Purpose:
The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts related to airport development projects. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, mitigates risks, and optimizes contract performance to support the successful execution of airport development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and closeout, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Identify potential risks and deviations from contractual agreements, develop mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any contractual disputes.
- Monitor contract budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to ensure adherence to financial objectives and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of contract documents, correspondence, and modifications. Generate reports and updates for management on contract status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies throughout the contract lifecycle. Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
- Participate in contract negotiations, amendments, and change orders. Resolve conflicts and disputes in a timely and efficient manner, collaborating with legal counsel and stakeholders as needed.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the aviation or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex contracts and agreements for large-scale development projects.
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation, with a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks..
- English language proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of financial principles and budget management.
