Job Brief:
We are looking for Accountants to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.
Accountant responsibilities include maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.
- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties.
Qualifications:
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject.
- Proven work experience as a accountant.
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen attention to detail
