Network Infrastructure Architect
Design, build, and maintain the backbone of our organization's technology
Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Network infrastructure architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure. This includes everything from networks, servers, storage and security. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that our infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement N etwork & IT infrastructure solutions that meet the business needs of the organization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as network diagrams and system specifications.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for implementation.
- Manage and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Provide technical support to other IT professionals.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
Role Purpose
- The Network Infrastructure Architect shall play a key role in the Tech & Digital infrastructure for Sindalah & Islands, contributing toward design and development of Infrastructure solutions such as ICT Network, Corporate Domain Services. Data Center etc.
Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Handson experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise/Service Provider networks
- Proven experience as a Network Infrastructure Architect or similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking, Domain Infrastructure, storage, and security concepts.
- Experience with virtualization technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and encapsulate business logic/rules into reusable libraries.
- Experience with IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, and Google Cloud IoT Core will be an advantage.
- Experience with security and privacy in IoT systems will be a plus.
- Experience in Hospitality sector would be a plus.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Great attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10 +-20 years of experience in Network & IT infrastructure design and implementation.
