Job Summary:
The HR Operations Manager oversees and optimizes the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role ensures the smooth execution of HR processes and programs, provides strategic HR support to various departments, and maintains compliance with labor laws and company policies. The HR Operations Manager will manage HR systems, data management, employee relations, and process improvements to support the organization's HR strategy and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations Management:
- Oversee the administration of HR programs, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and payroll.
- Develop and implement efficient HR processes and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Manage HR information systems (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation and implement changes as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and documentation to ensure compliance.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and manage employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of HR data and records.
- Manage employee records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance HR operations.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and processes.
- Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers related to HR functions
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in HR operations or a related field, with [2-4] years in a managerial or supervisory role.
