Job Purpose:
- Ensure strategy and the development of the Open Banking (Open APIs and BaaS) platform and all required APIs to be able to be provided to other parties through BaaS and Open Banking platforms and provide all requirements related to the API creation. Also, responsible for the Performance (Transactions and P&L Direct or Shadow) of all related developed solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the development and delivery of Bank Albilad BaaS and Open Banking product strategy in partnership with key internal partners.
- Deliver thought leadership on future of Open Banking, Open Finance and Embedded Finance for Bank Albilad and in Saudi Market as a leader bank in the country
- Define the prioritization for Open Banking use cases and products working closely with functional product team leads indifferent businesses functions (i.e. DBI, Retail and Corporate)
- Monitor for building and sustaining relationships with Open Banking partners (working closely with the DBI partnership and Digital Solutioning teams)
- Monitor for building business cases for new Products Building
- Serve as champion and subject matter expert of Open Banking – share regional/global knowledge with key stakeholders in markets and act as the SPOC with SAMA for all activities encountering Open Banking and Banking as a Service.
- Conduct market research on market players working closely with Digital Business Engagement Teams
- Monitor and sustain external relationships with clients through the relationship teams and Solutioning team and potential partners in Open Banking/BaaS and also considering Market Places integrations.
- Monitor the development and the foundation and be the Owner of Bank Albilad Developer Portal and ensure the technology foundation readiness and in place for easy expansion and drive future business adoption and customer acquisition.
- Work closely with all teams and stakeholders to ensure operational infrastructure is in place to expand organization and drive future product adoption
- Represent Bank Albilad in industry steering committees and client events as the voice of Open Banking, positioning Bank Albilad as a thought leader in the ecosystem
- Handle 1st level of FinTech sandbox and production concerns & Issues and provide full support for the developer portal forums via the support team
- Monitor and handle all integrations technical integrations issues and to be resolved by IT team via the support team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree graduate in Computer Science/engineering, Business or equivalent
Experience:
6-10 years of experience

- Open Banking expert, and extensive experience in product management and/or payments overall.
- Experience at an Open Banking company preferred.
