Role Purpose

Overseeing the internal and external communication operations of a company by managing the communications department staff, setting goals and guidelines, establishing budgets and timelines, liaising with key partners, coordinating with different teams to conceptualize and execute plans, and resolving issues promptly. Also, spearheaded the development of media and marketing, and communications materials, monitoring the workflow and the workforce to ensure efficiency. Moreover, as the communications manager, I lead and encourage teams to reach goals, all while implementing and promoting the company's and SR’s culture, policies, and regulations.

Set Strategic Plan

A full strategic Communication Plan is developed and approved by the ED.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Developing a cohesive communications strategy.
  • Establishing and driving tactical multi-channel communications strategy.
  • Setting up the annual budget and monitoring the financial plan.
  • Developing SoWs and ensuring onboarding best agencies.
  • Ensure following NEOM branding guideline in all CSR communication as well as CSR guideline.
  • Handle all CSR press releases, interviews and media works with NEOM - Communication Team
  • Prepare and manage all CSR reports (quarterly & annually)
  • Improve and handle weekly media mentoring reports
  • Managing the relation with the supplier and coaching the junior team to have a mutually benefited relationship with their designated suppliers.
  • Assembling and overseeing a diversely skilled communications team.
  • Setting performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise staff and provide regular feedback on performance.
  • Projecting a positive company image to the public.
  • Prepare and manage all communications material.
  • Developing a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms.
  • Managing media relations.
  • Developing contacts with media members, influencers and community leaders.
  • Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content.
  • Managing and assisting in GA and SR events.
  • Building and maintaining a healthy departmental culture through internal communications.
  • Working with different communications departments accross NEOM.

Necessary Knowledge And Experience

8+ years’ experience.

Education And Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.

Job Specific Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively and persuasively.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Superior project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize, and work independently.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Creativity and versatility in copywriting and media relations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
  • Resilience and adaptability to different situations and stress levels.
