BRIEF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades
- Implement safety and environment regulations
- Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department
- Ensure the best working performance of the equipment and the safety of all personnel through suitable strategy, job planning, and communication
- Ensure the maintenance and inspection programs are relevant, reliable, technically adequate, and practicable, and that relevant spare parts are available for routine and planned maintenance
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of the department budget, help in shutting down and restarting power plants or equipment in emergency situations or for maintenance, repairs, or replacements, and evaluate the performance of subordinates and develop their skills
- Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions, and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records, monitor inventory and order new parts, offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures, maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies, conduct periodic quality checks, plan and schedule repairs, inspect equipment and systems, participate in scheduling and executing major maintenance and shutdowns, manage subordinates and promote teamwork, ensure received spare parts and equipment meet specifications, and report all activities performed.
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION:
- Education: BSc certificate in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 7-10 years in mechanical maintenance fields in heavy industry
- English (Reading / good, writing / good, speaking / good)
- Knowledge of safety and environment regulations
- Technical knowledge of mechanical equipment
- Knowledge in MS office / ERP system
- Basic knowledge of cement manufacturing process
- Data collection (trending, diagnosing, analysing, reporting)
- In depth knowledge of the mechanical maintenance procedures and best practices
- Good knowledge of the properties of the different metals and material
