Job Purpose:

To Drive the development and execution of procurement strategies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier relationships, in alignment with company objectives to ensure that goods and supplies are purchased at the most competitive prices and are of the required quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Analyze market trends and conditions to make informed procurement decisions.
• Establish Procurement strategies for all procurement categories Packaging material, Raw material, spare parts, Cooperate procurement, Transportation, IT, Coolers and Fountain and Fleet & maintenance.
• Establish long-term relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Lead and execute the hedging for commodities Sugar, Aluminum and PET.
• Work on the yearly budget target for packaging and raw material with finance.
• Create cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve cost reductions.
• Monitor and report on procurement metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support New Launches, promotional activities, new packaging and ministry related permissions.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior procurement role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
• Proven working experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and commodity hedging.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data, market trends, and financial reports to make informed decisions.
• Experience in managing a diverse team and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
