Job Description:
Parsons is seeking highly experienced Construction Manager – Civil responsible for overseeing all aspects of the civil construction activities for a major infrastructure project. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction methodologies, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the civil construction team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company standards.<br/><br/>Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.<br/><br/>In collaboration with the client, manage all phases of the construction process, including planning, procurement, execution, monitoring, and closeout.<br/><br/>Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with specifications and regulations.<br/><br/>Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are met.<br/><br/>Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies.<br/><br/>Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project staff and subcontractors.<br/><br/>Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.<br/><br/>Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and other project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.<br/><br/>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and achieve project goals.<br/><br/>Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field<br/><br/>Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.<br/><br/>Extensive knowledge of civil construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.<br/><br/>Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.<br/><br/>Certification in project management (PMP) and/or relevant professional affiliations preferred.<br/><br/>Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
