A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking a skilled and organized Secretary to join their team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
  2. Manage and maintain executives' schedules and appointments.
  3. Organize and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  4. Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
  5. File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
  6. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports.
  7. Manage and maintain files, records, and databases.
  8. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  9. Greet and assist visitors and clients.
  10. Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management systems.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven work experience as a Secretary or similar role.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Professional appearance and demeanor.
  9. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  10. Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
