We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager to play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of our international business. This position will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management across both sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial complexities within different industries, along with experience working in a fast-paced international environment.
Areas of responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial reporting process for both sectors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage financial risks associated with projects, including commodity price fluctuations, project delays, and currency exchange.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
- Oversee the internal controls framework and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage a team of finance professionals and provide coaching and mentorship.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations impacting the oil & gas and construction sectors.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on financial performance and trends.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent a plus).Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management within oil and gas construction industry.Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management.Strong understanding of IFRS and international accounting principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience with financial modeling software a plus.Experience working in an international environment a plus.
