Business Development Specialist

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Sales1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management roles with a proven track record of achieving targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersDemonstrated understanding of the payments industry and relevant technologies such as Point of Sale systems, cards, and online paymentsStrong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to make informed decisionsSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job requires travel to meet with clients and vendors.
