Perform diagnostic radiographs, daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room, daily maintenance of x-ray film processor and handles processing of radiology request, radiology reports and x-ray films and ensures strict compliance with any rules or regulations that apply to the clinic. Accountabilities
- Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions.
- Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
- Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need.

- Working Hours : 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
Job Requirements Education - Bachelor’s degree in Applied medical science – Radiology section
Experience - 2 years of practical experience following graduation.
Computer Skills - Office & Health Information System
Languages - English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing)
