Location : Cairo This role would require you to build effective relationships with EssenceMediacom teams on Mars (specifically on MW where they are separate) in some of our key markets – including China, Australia, India, MEA , and Mexico and begin to wield influence without authority – not only with the markets but also with your hub teammates and (as appropriate) with other partner agencies . You will be responsible for supporting the Hub lead and other directors in the team as they work with the local markets and the broader WPP team on Mars in delivering Hub excellence. Liaise with external vendors and agency partners where required to ensure a successful rollout of projects (like Dove/Galaxy purpose and BBDO and China sponsorship workstream and streaming partners) .

Job Title: Regional Hub Engagement Manager
Department / Team: GEM China Hub Team on Mars
OVERVIEW:
The EssenceMediacom GEM & China hub team on Mars Wrigley (a segment of Mars Inc ) is uniquely constituted across geographies in line with the diversity of the markets it serves – all of APAC ( including China), Middle East and Latin America spanning 4 continents and 16 time-zones!
The Regional Hub Engagement Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring all key hub projects and priorities stay on track. That would include managing timelines on the prioritized projects, alerting key EM stakeholders (in the hub team and/or related local markets) , and all related day-to-day hub-to-local internal communications.
You will predominantly work as the connection point between the distributed hub team spread between New York, Dubai, Mumbai , and Beijing as well as act as a key point person for day-to-day contact for the GEM client, who would be based in Dubai.
YOUR IMPACT:
Support the Hub leader in keeping Hub projects on track .
C ommunicating requests, expectations, timing , and (whenever market input is required) aggregating, organizing, and synthesizing responses .
Serve as a support and constant resource for the GEM and China market through regular market connects . C oordinate cross-market and market-specific connects monthly to communicate key updates and priority projects . Partner with MW Europe hub engagement leads to ensure cross-hub sharing of learnings .
YOUR PEOPLE SKILLS:

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Media Planning and Strategy, Media Buying, Account Management, and the agency environment Resourceful (“figure it out”) attitude with a willingness to learn new systems, processes, or skills. Strong analytical abilities, including math proficiency & numbers focus. Technical expertise, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency with other media systems, PowerBI, and other database systems is helpful as well. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and highest standards of delivery Proactive, intelligent, and organized client servicing skills Capacity to anticipate issues. Strong communication and relationship-building skills which include maintaining positive client and market relationships. Ability to project and time manage, including collaborating successfully with teams, handling multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines under pressure. Flexibility to adapt and execute new solutions/ ideas.
Implementational knowledge across all media, ideally across multiple geographies Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
