Lead Technician
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidates will be responsible for:
• Experience in the maintenance field, Troubleshooting, testing & Commissioning, Repair Defects, Alternative solutions to keep the power system running and reliable in all electrical facilities, including but not limited to LV/HV switchgear, transformers, motors, UPS, EDGs, and electrical protections.
• Implementation of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs, EWR " Engineering Work Requests ", IWS " Inspection Work Sheet ", PSD Reliability Programs, and other initiatives.
• Experience in Execution of all Predictive Maintenance programs for electrical equipment (i.e. thermography, transformer oil analysis, partial discharges, etc.)
• Experience in all Protective Relaying Systems, Electric Metering/Measuring Devices, Intelligent Electrical Devices (IEDs), Power Monitoring and Control systems.
Qualification
1- High School: with min. 11 years of progressive experience from craftsman in a refining and petrochemical industry. Diploma Holder: with min. 10 years of experience in Refining and Petrochemical industry.
2- Ability to select and implement predictive maintenance technologies for all electrical equipment in petrochemical facilities.
3- Sound knowledge and experience analyzing results of electrical testing techniques (Insulation Resistance, Partial Discharge, Tan Delta, IR Thermography, etc.).
4- Experience in the maintenance field, Troubleshooting, testing & Commissioning, Repair Defects, Alternative solutions in oil and gas electrical facilities, including but not limited to LV/HV switchgear, transformers, motors, UPS, EDGs, and electrical protections.
