- Support the engineering team during planning, designing, development, equipment installation, maintenance, and BOQ.
- Conduct feasibility studies in coordination with the team to ensure that all specifications and standards of approved projects meet organization’s requirements.
- Prepare periodic reports regarding the function activities and achievements.
- Participate in the periodic meetings with direct manager to ensure that priorities are clear and the workflow is running smoothly as per agreed plans at the beginning of each year.
- Study project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Prepare the shop drawing for construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Review contractors' shop drawings and design drawings as well as outsourced drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Coordinate with Surveying team to provide them with all the information about land and any site measurement required.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical issues, and other problems that may arise during construction to the direct manager for discussion and provide proper solutions timely.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant.
- Prepare materials cut off list, procurement plan, and analyze technical & financial offers.
- Study and review all tender documents received by the business unit including instructions to tenders, contract general and special conditions, specifications, drawings, and preparing BOQ.
- Participate in value engineering workshops.
- Participate in strategy workshops and actively contribute innovative solutions.
- Support the department development activities.
- Identify potential problems and notify the head of the engineering department in a timely manner.
- Monitor processes, workers, and methods, and develop plans for increased efficiency.
- Coordinate with other Engineers and crew members to ensure quality products are completed on schedule.
- Perform quality control on all projects, writing reports, and making recommendations for improvement.
Females only Bachelor’s degree in applied arts or architectural engineering or similar.Experience in a similar technical role recommended.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with others. ( 3 : 5 ) years of experience in the same roleProficiency in AutoCAD.Revit & 3DMAX skills are a plus.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to lead and inspire.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
