Role Description The Accountant will work on-site in Jeddah in a full-time capacity, managing day-to-day financial and accounting activities. Responsibilities include recording and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The role involves processing accounts payable and receivable, managing expense records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, assist with audits, and help improve accounting processes and controls.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Understanding of internal controls, audit support, and compliance with relevant financial regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar industry or corporate environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Jeddah and adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
