About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift, a data annotation company, is seeking a Freelance Annotator (English) - AI Trainer to contribute to Toloka's initiatives. This role involves participating in online tasks designed to train and enhance artificial intelligence models. Mindrift and Toloka aim to leverage human intelligence to unlock the full potential of AI development by involving real people in the development process.

Role Overview and Opportunity

As a Freelance Annotator, you will engage in project-based work, with tasks available when projects are active. This part-time, remote, and freelance opportunity is designed to fit around existing primary professional or academic commitments. Projects may include rating AI-generated content, evaluating factual accuracy, or comparing responses. Successful candidates will gain valuable experience in advanced AI projects and contribute to shaping how future AI models understand and communicate in their field of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully review provided data, which may include text, images, or videos.
• Label or classify content accurately based on specific project guidelines.
• Identify and flag material that is factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate, or unclear.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in any professional role.
• Advanced level of English (C1 or higher), proficient in both written and spoken communication.

• Demonstrated logical thinking, fact-checking, and reasoning abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to understand and follow complex instructions precisely.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

This is a part-time, remote, freelance position with compensation up to $17 per hour equivalent. Work is project-based, and tasks are available depending on active projects and your profile match. This flexible arrangement allows for participation in advanced AI development from anywhere.
