This is a full-time on-site role based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The Sales Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and commercial quotations for fabrication, maintenance, and industrial projects within the oil & gas sector. The role includes reviewing technical drawings and project specifications, calculating material and labor costs, and coordinating with procurement, engineering, and project teams. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing RFQs, preparing competitive quotations, sourcing vendor pricing, maintaining estimation records, and supporting tender submissions. The role requires strong analytical, technical, and commercial skills to ensure accurate pricing and timely submission of quotations.
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sales Estimation Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and commercial quotations for fabrication, maintenance, and industrial projects within the oil & gas sector. The candidate should have strong technical and commercial understanding, with the ability to analyze project requirements, review drawings and specifications, and coordinate with multiple departments to prepare competitive quotations.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimations and commercial quotations for projects. Review client RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications. Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Coordinate with procurement, projects, and engineering departments. Source supplier and vendor quotations when required. Assist in preparing bid documents and tender submissions. Follow up with clients regarding submitted quotations. Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time. Maintain estimation records and pricing databases. Support business development and sales activities.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation or sales estimation. Experience in oil & gas, fabrication, steel structure, or industrial projects is preferred. Ability to read technical drawings and project specifications. Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Fluent in English.
