We are a leading sports retail and merchandise company based in Qatar, specializing in sports apparel, footwear, and equipment. As part of our strategic expansion into the Saudi market, we are establishing retail operations in Riyadh while simultaneously developing strong wholesale and institutional sales channels across the Kingdom. We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected professional with strong B2B and wholesale experience to represent our company in Saudi Arabia and drive commercial growth through strategic partnerships and institutional engagement. Role Purpose: To develop and expand the company’s B2B and wholesale business across Saudi Arabia by building relationships with government entities, sports organizations, retailers, and institutional clients, while supporting retail expansion and strengthening the company’s market presence. Key Responsibilities Wholesale & B2B Business Development Identify, approach, and develop wholesale and B2B opportunities across Saudi Arabia. Build and maintain relationships with:Ministries and government entities Public sector organizations Sports federations and sports clubs Educational institutions Corporate clients Retailers and distribution partners Promote and expand sales of sports apparel, footwear, and equipment through wholesale channels. Identify potential retail partners and resellers interested in sports-related products. Develop and manage key accounts and long-term commercial partnerships. Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close B2B sales agreements. Government & Institutional Engagement Establish strong working relationships with ministries, government offices, and public institutions. Identify opportunities for supplying sports products to:Government projects Schools and universities Sports facilities Public initiatives Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and official engagements. Monitor government tenders and institutional procurement opportunities. Retail Expansion Support Support the identification and evaluation of retail opportunities in Riyadh. Assist in securing suitable showroom locations. Liaise with mall leasing teams and property developers. Support showroom setup coordination when required.
Market Development & Intelligence Conduct market research to identify potential wholesale and retail opportunities. Monitor competitor activity and pricing strategies. Provide regular updates on market trends and customer demand. Identify new distribution channels to increase market reach. Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary local liaison between Saudi stakeholders and the Qatar head office. Coordinate communication between internal departments and external partners. Support licensing, distribution, and commercial initiatives. Operational & Commercial Support Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. Assist in onboarding new distributors, retailers, and wholesale clients. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with local regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Minimum 6–10 years of experience in:B2B sales Wholesale business development Key account management Proven track record in developing wholesale networks and institutional sales. Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market. Demonstrated ability to approach and engage government entities and institutional clients.
