- سلامة الأعمال المرتفعة: فحص السقالات، منصات العمل، وأحزمة الأمان، والتأكد من تطبيق نظام الحماية من السقوط بشكل صارم.
- إدارة الحفريات والأعمال الأرضية: مراقبة عمليات الحفر، التأكد من تدعيم الجوانب، ومنع انهيار التربة أو دخول المياه وتأمين المناطق المحيطة بها.
- مراقبة الآليات الثقيلة: الإشراف على حركة الرافعات (Cranes)، الجرافات، والمعدات الثقيلة، والتأكد من كفاءة مشغليها وامتلاكهم الرخص اللازمة.
- إدارة خطة السلامة للمشروع (HSE Plan): إعداد وتحديث خطة السلامة الخاصة بكل موقع إنشائي واعتمادها من استشاري المشروع أو المالك.
المتطلبات والمؤهلات الخاصة
- التعليم: بكالوريوس هندسة (مدنية، معمارية، سلامة، أو ميكانيكية ، كهربائية) مع دورات تخصصية في السلامة الإنشائية.
- الشهادات المفضلة: شهادة NEBOSH IGC أو OSHA Construction (الخاصة بالإنشاءات وليست الصناعات العامة).
- المهارات: القدرة على العمل الميداني في ظروف طقس مختلفة، وقوة الشخصية للقدرة على إيقاف أي أعمال تشكل خطراً فورياً على حياة العمال (Stop Work Authority).
The job objective is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment across various construction sites, directly supervise contractors' and workers' compliance with occupational safety standards, and reduce construction-related falls and injuries to ensure the project proceeds without interruption. Assigned tasks and responsibilities
- High-altitude work safety: Inspecting scaffolding, work platforms, and safety harnesses, and ensuring the strict application of fall protection systems.
- Excavation and earthworks management: Monitoring excavation processes, ensuring side support, preventing soil collapse or water ingress, and securing surrounding areas.
- Heavy machinery monitoring: Supervising the movement of cranes, bulldozers, and heavy equipment, and ensuring operators are qualified and hold the necessary licenses.
- HSE Plan management: Preparing and updating the safety plan for each construction site and obtaining approval from the project consultant or the owner.
Specific requirements and qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Safety, Mechanical, or Electrical) with specialized courses in construction safety.
- Preferred certifications: NEBOSH IGC or OSHA Construction (specific to construction, not general industry).
- Skills: Ability to work in the field under various weather conditions and a strong personality to exercise Stop Work Authority for any activities that pose an immediate threat to workers' lives.
