About the Role

Sheraton is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee all property operations and ensure high levels of hospitality and service. This full-time role involves acting as the property's Manager on Duty, representing management in guest and property-related situations, and managing guest relations. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the property's Manager on Duty, overseeing all operational aspects.
• Represent property management in resolving guest or property-related issues.
• Manage guest inquiries and direct guests within the lobby area.
• Function as the Guest Relations Manager, tracking and addressing service issues.
• Maintain strong working relationships with all departments to support operations and goals, facilitating problem resolution.
• Communicate any deviations from established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Distribute the Manager on Duty report to all departments daily.
• Actively work to improve service performance and emphasize guest satisfaction in departmental meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, standards, and procedures.

Operational Management

The Duty Manager plays a crucial role in operational oversight, ensuring that staffing levels meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives. This involves a continuous focus on improving service delivery and maintaining operational efficiency across the property.

Financial and Compliance Oversight

• Understand and comply with all loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports, along with other performance data.
• Measure productivity and goal achievement, identifying areas for cost reduction and program improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar operational or guest relations role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage property operations and resolve guest-related situations effectively.
• Strong understanding of hospitality service standards and guest satisfaction principles.
• Proficiency in reviewing operational and financial data to drive performance improvements.
