About the Role

Role Summary
The Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing a self-directing team focused on the intake and processing of specified poultry products. The primary objective is to meet internal customer demands within established management performance parameters, including efficiency, loss-in-process control, and zero non-conformance. This role is critical in ensuring all activities comply with defined product specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a self-directing, multi-functional team within the poultry processing unit.
- Ensure efficient intake of poultry.
- Oversee the processing of specified poultry products to meet internal customer requirements.
- Operate within defined management performance parameters, including efficiency and loss-in-process targets.
- Strive for zero non-conformance in all processing activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to defined product specifications.
- Maintain compliance with all established Quality and Safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Understanding of poultry processing operations and related quality/safety protocols.
