Job Summary Responsible for installation, commissioning, integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Huawei IBS/telecom network equipment. The engineer will support network rollout, site implementation, fault resolution, and network optimization while ensuring quality and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and commission Huawei telecom/network equipment.
• Perform IBS/site implementation activities, including equipment installation, cabling, power connections, and site acceptance.
• Configure Huawei transmission, IP, access, or wireless equipment as applicable to the project.
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and resolve network/site-related faults.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for Huawei equipment.
• Perform equipment upgrades, expansions, migrations, and software upgrades.
• Analyze alarms, logs, and performance issues and coordinate with NOC and other technical teams for resolution.
• Carry out integration and acceptance testing according to project requirements.
• Prepare installation, commissioning, test, and site acceptance reports.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams during deployment activities.
• Ensure work complies with Huawei standards, customer specifications, HSE requirements, and project timelines.
• Provide technical support for escalated network and equipment issues.

Required Skills

• 4 5 years of hands-on experience in telecom/network engineering.
• Strong experience with Huawei equipment and platforms .
• Knowledge of Huawei U2000/iManager or relevant Huawei network management systems.
• Good understanding of IP networking, VLAN, routing, switching, Ethernet, and transmission fundamentals.
• Experience with commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to read network diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and perform field activities when required.

• Bachelor s degree/diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Huawei certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in telecom operators or large-scale network rollout projects.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Valid driving license may be required for field-based roles.
