The QA Engineer will design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Fin Tech applications, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. Daily responsibilities include performing manual testing, validating new features, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues. The role involves documenting test results, contributing to test strategies, and supporting release processes to maintain high reliability and performance standards. The QA Engineer will also help improve QA processes, tools, and best practices within the team. Senior QA Engineer – Digital Channels | Fin Tech Experience: 4–6 years Domain: Fin Tech / Banking / Lending – required/preferred Education: Graduate/Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent Role Responsible for end-to-end QA ownership across:● Mobile Applications – Android & i OS● Web Customer Portal● Partner Connect Portal The candidate must ensure quality across business workflows, APIs, third-party integrations, regression, UAT, releases, and production validation, while coordinating closely with offshore development teams. Key Responsibilities & Skills● Strong Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Sanity & UAT Testing● End-to-end testing of digital lending/financing journeys● Hands-on API testing using Postman & Swagger/Open API● Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication and integrations● SQL/database validation and transaction/data consistency checks● Application/API log analysis and basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA)● Web testing using Chrome Dev Tools● Android/i OS testing using real devices; basic Android Studio/Xcode knowledge● Test third-party integrations such as e KYC/Nafath, credit checks, AML/fraud, payment, contract/signature and partner APIs● Strong defect management using Jira/Azure Dev Ops● Prepare test cases, test data, regression packs, defect reports and release sign-off● Coordinate with developers for defect investigation, fixes, retesting and regression● Track offshore team dependencies, estimates, blockers and delivery commitments● Perform pre-production and post-production validation● Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and release management Must-Have Tools Jira/Azure Dev Ops | Postman | Swagger/Open API | SQL | Chrome Dev Tools | Git | Android Studio/Xcode Preferred: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress, JMeter, Jenkins / Git Hub Actions, CI/CDOffshore Coordination Must be capable of independently driving offshore QA coordination, including:Requirement clarification → Test planning → Defect reporting → Developer follow-up → Retesting → Regression → UAT → Release readiness → Production validation Key Expectation The candidate must be a technical QA owner, not only a manual tester, with the ability to understand business flows, investigate technical issues, challenge incomplete fixes, coordinate offshore developers, and independently drive quality through production release.
