About the Role

Guardian Jobs is seeking a Secondary Physics Teacher for a full-time position in Jeddah, Makkah. This role is based in a well-established international gender-segregated school that provides education from Early Years through to Sixth Form. The school delivers the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE qualifications, and offers both A Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme pathways in the senior years. The salary for this position ranges from SAR 11,700 for candidates with 2-5 years of experience to SAR 16,380 for those with 10 or more years of experience.

The KED Program

Teachers are expected to participate in the KED program, which focuses on personalized learning. In this program, the teacher assists students in setting goals and developing effective learning strategies for all schoolwork. The KED program defines four primary roles for teachers:

• Serving as a personal coach to support each student’s progress.
• Acting as a subject teacher with expertise in a specific subject.
• Functioning as a general teacher who provides support to all students in the school.
• Operating as a team member within local and global networks of teachers in the KED Network.
