Director, P&O | MAF Properties | KSA Portfolio
ROLE SUMMARY
The role is responsible for leading the People & Organization agenda across Majid Al Futtaim Development, acting as a strategic partner to the business in enabling growth, organizational effectiveness, and capability building. The role drives the development and execution of people strategies, organization design, workforce planning, leadership capability, and culture initiatives to support business objectives across existing and emerging markets.
ROLE PROFILE
- Partner with SVP P&O and Head of Departments to create the P&O strategy by analyzing and anticipating business needs, market dynamics, P&O challenges and establish a roadmap in line with overall Majid Al Futtaim Development people strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end people and organizational set-up & Talent Deployment for new Development entities and markets, including operating model design, organization structures, leadership hiring, talent mapping and, workforce mobilization.
- Provide functional level leadership and expertise to MAF Development on the company’s P&O strategies, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Build and execute the P&O set-up strategy for current and future growth markets, including workforce planning, organizational design, operating model activation, leadership hiring, and scaling capabilities in line with business growth.
- Manage and drive talent data and analytics to provide leaders with facts and trends on leadership development, employee engagement, talent needs, compensation and attrition.
- Translate business objectives into strategic initiatives and actions, which fully align and comply with MAFD People Strategy and contribute to business unit growth, profitability and ensure high level of employee engagement.
- Support Development leadership team in establishing fit-for-purpose organizational structures, operating models, governance frameworks, capabilities, and change management plans required to scale new business units and projects effectively.
- Partner with the MAF head office on Leadership Institute agenda in implementing targeted learning and development programs for the leadership team to strengthen the management pipeline and bench-strength as part of the succession planning program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / HR or equivalent.
- Master’s degree or other formal Human Resource Qualifications preferred.
- 15 years progressive experience in managing all HR disciplines in a reputed company, preferably Retail, Real Estate or FMCG in GCC with 5 – 7 years in a senior management / leadership position.
- Strategic leadership skills, Business Partnering, Team Development, Stakeholder Management, Budgeting and Reporting.
