Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on telecommunications equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime to enhance service reliability for customers.
2. Install and configure telecom systems and devices, utilizing industry-standard tools and protocols to ensure seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
3. Conduct regular inspections of network components, identifying potential issues proactively to prevent service disruptions and maintain high quality standards.
4. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our telecommunications services.
5. Assist in the development of technical documentation and user manuals, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both technical staff and end-users.
6. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, troubleshooting issues effectively and ensuring timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
7. Monitor network performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and recommend improvements that align with business objectives.
8. Participate in training sessions and workshops, staying updated on industry advancements and best practices to enhance personal and team capabilities.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards while performing all tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Skills

• Experience not less than 5 years +
• Installation/erection of telecom equipment/cabinet within the communication room. High level of experience in telecom equipment, wiring/termination and DC cabling.
• Able to work on sensitive telecom fiber optic equipment (e.g. MPLS-TP) including ancillary equipment such as DC Panels, IT equipment, fiber optic panels, etc.
• Able to follow and interpret accurately the design drawings and diagrams.
• High regards to adhering on work quality, implementation procedures and safety protocol since activities are carried on within Saudi Energy restricted areas
• Flexible adapting in diverse working environments and working with various nationalities.
