The job objective is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment at various construction sites, directly supervise contractors' and workers' compliance with occupational safety standards, and reduce falls and construction-related injuries to ensure project continuity without interruption. Assigned tasks and responsibilities

• Safety in high-altitude work: Inspecting scaffolding, work platforms, and safety harnesses, and ensuring the strict implementation of fall protection systems.
• Excavation and earthwork management: Monitoring excavation operations, ensuring shoring of sides, preventing soil collapse or water ingress, and securing surrounding areas.
• Heavy machinery monitoring: Supervising the movement of cranes, bulldozers, and heavy equipment, and ensuring the competence of operators and their possession of the necessary licenses.
• HSE Plan management: Preparing and updating the safety plan for each construction site and obtaining approval from the project consultant or owner.

Specific requirements and qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Architectural, Safety, Mechanical, or Electrical) with specialized courses in construction safety.
• Preferred certifications: NEBOSH IGC or OSHA Construction certification (for construction, not general industry).
• Skills: Ability to work in the field under various weather conditions, and strong personality to have the authority to stop any work that poses an immediate risk to the lives of workers (Stop Work Authority).
