About the Role

Al-Khaiyar Tech Company for Information Systems Technology is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The holder of this position will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing timely reports, and complying with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role requires practical experience ranging from two to five years in the accounting field, full-time.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage activities of accounts receivable and accounts payable and general ledger, in addition to accounting reconciliations and monthly closings.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports accurately, including variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of SOCPA and IFRS, value-added tax (VAT), zakat, social insurance (GOSI), and related regulations.
• Manage payroll accounting, including salaries, commissions, deductions, and related reports.
• Monitor cash flows, banking transactions, payments, and working capital.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and fixed assets records, including depreciation and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of annual budgeting and financial planning and analyze variances from the budget.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and authorization policies and financial procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, customers, banks, and internal stakeholders on financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with DoA (Delegation of Authority) matrix and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems, including ERP systems (ERP/Odoo).

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging from two to five years in accounting.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and SOCPA and IFRS standards.
• Knowledge of VAT, zakat, and GOSI regulations.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Odoo.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to prepare financial reports and analyze data accurately.
• Strong skills in cash flow management and general accounting.
• Ability to apply and enhance internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal and external parties.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to less experienced accountants and update management on financial developments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The Accountant will work within a dedicated finance team, contributing to achieving the company’s financial goals and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
