Project Management Director is sought by Lavee Q to join its team in Riyadh. The holder of this full-time position will have overall supervision of project and program management activities, focusing on ensuring achievement of the defined objectives within the allocated timelines and budgets. The role requires experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in project management.

Main objective of the role

This role aims to lead and monitor the development of project and program execution plans, and to monitor their workflow effectively. This includes setting and tracking budgets, managing contracting processes, defining costs and sources of funding, and monitoring execution to ensure successful project completion and achievement of the targeted goals according to the specified schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of project and program plans, guiding budgeting estimates and determining human, technical, and equipment requirements, ensuring they are available on time and within the estimated cost.
• Identify project assumptions and all interdependencies with other projects or programs to ensure optimal use of available resources.
• Identify project risks and outline steps to avoid and resolve them in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate with the project team to review completed work and remaining stages, ensuring compliance with the project scope and approved management standards and quality specifications.
• Manage change processes based on the laid plans.

Project closing and knowledge management

• Coordinate and follow up on closing major project phases and the project close-out process.
• Evaluate the level of achievement of project outputs against its main objectives.
• Ensure transfer of all knowledge and experience related to the project and document all related documents, templates, and reports.

Reporting and performance measurement

• Oversee the preparation of project progress reports and risk and challenge management reports on a periodic basis.
• Prepare reports measuring performance indicators and project success factors.
• Submit related reports to the relevant project stakeholders and senior management in the entity.

Experience requirements

This role requires practical experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in project and program management, with a proven track record of supervising multiple projects and ensuring their successful completion. It is preferred that the candidate holds a related academic qualification in management, engineering, or equivalent.
