About the Role

Zamil Industrial Company for Heavy Metal Industries is seeking a Accountant to join its team in Jeddah, in the Makkah region. This full-time role focuses on supporting the company\'s financial operations by preparing accounting documents, tracking revenues, recording financial transactions, in addition to auditing accounts and preparing required reports.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Audit financial claims and ensure they meet legal and financial requirements.
• Prepare, organize and document expense documents, and oversee their audit and approval by approved regulatory authorities.
• Monitor operating and capital expenditures based on the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Prepare the financial position and monthly conclusions, and organize the annual closing accounts.
• Record accounting entries and financial transactions in the ledgers, audit bank accounts, and prepare necessary reconciliations with monthly reconciliation statements.
• Develop accounting methods and procedures and keep up with scientific and technological developments in the field.
• Prepare and preserve specialized documents and reports related to expense and revenue accounting in the dedicated database.

Required Experience

This role requires experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in accounting or a related field, making it a suitable opportunity for fresh graduates or those with limited experience seeking to build their career.

Competencies and Skills

• Proficiency in preparing and organizing documents and financial reports accurately.
• Ability to audit accounts and prepare bank reconciliations and monthly matchings.
