About the Role

Al-Madina Al-Ansheya Contracting Company announces its need for a Project Management Director to join its team in Jeddah, Mecca. The holder of this role will be responsible for overall supervision of project and program management activities, and follow up on the development of implementation plans to ensure the specified objectives are met within the allocated timelines and budgets. This is a full-time position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise the development and execution of project and program plans in the entity.
• Direct and monitor budget estimation processes and determine the human, technical, and equipment requirements for the implementation.
• Ensure resources are available on time and within the estimated cost.
• Monitor implementation processes to ensure projects are completed and objectives are achieved according to the schedule and allocated budget.

Risk Management and Coordination

• Supervise the identification of project assumptions and all interdependencies with other projects or programs to ensure optimal use of available resources.
• Identify project risks and outline steps to avoid and resolve them in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate with the team to review completed work and remaining stages.
• Ensure compliance with the project scope, approved project management standards, and quality specifications.
• Manage change processes based on the planned plans.

Project Closure and Reporting

• Coordinate and monitor the termination of major project phases and the project closure process.
• Assess the extent to which project outputs achieve its main objectives.
• Ensure transfer of all related knowledge and experiences and document project documents, templates, and reports.
• Supervise the preparation of project progress reports and risk and challenge management reports on a periodic basis.
• Measure performance indicators and project success factors and escalate reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in the field of project management.
