About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior HSE Manager Saudi National to join its team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position reports directly to the KBR Project Director and is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of health, safety, environmental, and security performance for a major infrastructure programme.

Project Overview

The programme involves a significant infrastructure development for a mixed-use community in Riyadh. This development aims to establish itself as a global landmark, recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination. The community is designed to be a distinct, self-sustaining hub within Riyadh, featuring several iconic assets. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy services, encompassing project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Health, Safety, Environmental & Security management policies in conjunction with the client, and issue guidelines to design consultants and contractors.
• Review Health, Safety, Environmental & Security plans and procedures submitted by design consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with project policies.
• Support design consultants and contractors in the effective implementation of Health, Safety, Environment & Security policies and procedures.
• Monitor the Health, Safety, Environment & Security performance of design consultants and contractors.
• Provide leadership and direction to managers and professional staff within the programme team on Health, Safety, Environment & Security matters.
• Prepare formal audit plans and conduct audits as scheduled.
• Interface with relevant regulatory HSE bodies.
• Collate and report Health, Safety, Environment & Security statistics.
• Develop and implement action plans with consultants and contractors to enhance Health, Safety, Environment & Security performance.
• Ensure the KBR team's compliance with KBR's internal HSE requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Senior HSE Manager role.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience within the Middle East region.
• Experience with major projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Possession of a full driving license is required.

This is a full-time position based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working within a dynamic project environment focused on large-scale infrastructure development. The role requires active collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, design consultants, and contractors.
