Job description
WSP is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the PMCM team supporting the delivery of a landmark development in Riyadh. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong leadership of construction supervision activities, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project execution from a consultant/PMC environment.
The successful candidate will act as the Client's representative on site, driving construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance across multiple work fronts while ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with schedule and budget objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all site construction activities within the assigned project scope.
- Monitor contractor performance against approved schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Drive construction progress and proactively resolve site issues affecting delivery.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, authorities, and client representatives.
- Review and monitor construction methodologies, logistics plans, recovery plans, and sequencing strategies.
- Chair site progress meetings and provide accurate reporting on project performance.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor implementation of HSE requirements and project quality standards.
- Review contractor resource deployment and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
