The Role We are seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead KIH's IT function end-to-end: infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data governance. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will own the technology agenda across the holding: maturing IT from reactive support into a well-governed platform, protecting a high-confidentiality environment, and driving the digitization of core workflows. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set direction, but you will also be close enough to the systems to know when something is wrong before the business does.
What You Will Own IT Strategy & Governance Define and execute the IT roadmap in line with business priorities and budget Establish IT policies, standards, and service levels Present technology investment cases and policy recommendations to executive management Infrastructure & Enterprise Systems Own the availability, performance, and lifecycle of IT infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud and on-premise platforms, and end-user computing Manage enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365 and the HRIS (Mena ITech); lead implementations, upgrades, and integrations with minimal business disruption Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements are defined, tested, and current Cybersecurity & Data Governance Lead the cybersecurity posture: access control, identity management, threat protection, and incident response Establish data governance and information protection practices across systems and information assets Enforce security standards across users, vendors, and systems, with the authority to act Vendors, Licensing & Budget Manage IT vendors, telecom providers, and security partners; negotiate contracts and hold suppliers to service levels Own IT licensing, asset management, and the IT budget with full cost accountability Digitization & Team Leadership Identify and deliver automation of manual workflows across corporate functions Lead, develop, and set standards for the IT team; build a service-oriented support culture
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field10 to 15 years of progressive IT experience, including team management Demonstrated depth in cybersecurity and IT governance; this is essential, not preferred Strong background across IT infrastructure and operations: networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user environments Experience managing enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, HRIS, Microsoft 365), including implementation, integration, and lifecycle management Track record of managing vendors, licensing, and IT budgets, and delivering IT projects on time and within budget Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft/Azure, CCNP) are an advantage Fluent English and Arabic
