الكيميائي في المستودع مسؤول عن ضمان الإدارة الآمنة والامتثال والكفاءة للمواد الكيميائية والبضائع الخطرة ضمن عمليات المستودع.
يشرف الدور على استلامها وفحصها وتصنيفها وتخزينها والتعامل معها والتخلص منها بما يضمن الامتثال للوائح السلامة الكيميائية المحلية والدولية.
يوفر الكيميائي في المستودع الخبرة الفنية لدعم عمليات المستودع وتقليل المخاطر والحفاظ على الامتثال التنظيمي والترويج للممارسات الفضلى في إدارة المواد الكيميائية.
كما يدعم المنصب عمليات التدقيق والاستجابة للطوارئ ومبادرات التحسين المستمر المرتبطة بإدارة المواد الكيميائية الخطرة.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
استقبال وفحص وتحديد وتصنيف والتحقق من المواد الكيميائية والبضائع الخطرة لضمان الامتثال لمواصفات الشراء والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
ضمان التخزين الآمن والفصل والتعامل والنقل للمواد الكيميائية وفقاً للمعايير التنظيمية والسلامة المعمول بها.
إجراء جولات تفتيش روتينية على مناطق تخزين المواد الكيميائية وتقديم الإجراءات التصحيحية لمعالجة مخاطر السلامة والبيئة والامتثال.
رصد جرد المواد الكيميائية وفترة صلاحيتها وظروف التخزين والحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة وورقة بيانات السلامة (SDS) والوثائق التنظيمية.
تقييم توافق المواد الكيميائية وإجراء تقييمات المخاطر لتقليل المخاطر ودعم عمليات المستودع الآمنة.
تنسيق التخلص الآمن من المواد الكيميائية المنتهية الصلاحية أو القديمة أو الخطرة بما يتوافق مع المتطلبات البيئية والتنظيمية.
توفير التوجيه الفني والتدريب التوعوي للعاملين في المستودع حول سلامة المواد الكيميائية والتعامل مع المواد الخطرة ومعدات الحماية الشخصية وإجراءات الاستجابة للطوارئ.
التعاون مع الشراء والسلامة والصحة والبيئة واللوجستيات والجهات التنظيمية لضمان الامتثال ودعم التدقيق والتحقيق في الحوادث وتحسين ممارسات إدارة المواد الكيميائية باستمرار.
درجة البكالوريوس في الكيمياء أو الهندسة الكيميائية أو الصيدلة أو علم المختبرات الطبية أو التكنولوجيا الكيميائية أو تخصص علمي ذي صلة.
الحد الأدنى أربع (4) سنوات خبرة في عمليات المستودعات الكيميائية أو إدارة المواد الخطرة أو المختبرات أو بيئات المواد الكيميائية الصناعية.
معرفة قوية بخواص المواد الكيميائية وتصنيف المخاطر والتوافق وممارسات التعامل مع المواد الخطرة.
الإلمام باللوائح المعمول بها، بما في ذلك GHS ولوائح البضائع الخطرة IATA (DGR) ورمز IMDG وADR والمتطلبات التنظيمية المحلية.
الكفاءة في تفسير وتطبيق أوراق بيانات السلامة (SDS) وتطبيق ممارسات التخزين والفصل الآمن للمواد الكيميائية.
خبرة في إجراء تقييمات مخاطر كيميائية وتحقيقات حوادث وتنفيذ إجراءات تصحيحية وقابلة للوقاية.
فهم جيد لعمليات المستودع وأنظمة إدارة المخزون وإدارة النفايات الخطرة والامتثال البيئي.
مهارات اتصال وتحليل وحل مشكلات وتوثيق قوية، مع كفاءة في Microsoft Office ونظم إدارة المستودعات.

Job description
The Warehouse Chemist is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient management of chemicals and dangerous goods within warehouse operations.
The role oversees the receipt, inspection, classification, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials while ensuring compliance with local and international chemical safety regulations.
The Warehouse Chemist provides technical expertise to support warehouse operations, minimize risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote best practices in chemical management.
The position also supports audits, emergency response activities, and continuous improvement initiatives related to hazardous materials management.
Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, identify, classify, and verify chemicals and dangerous goods to ensure compliance with purchase specifications and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the safe storage, segregation, handling, and transportation of chemicals in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of chemical storage areas and recommend corrective actions to address safety, environmental, and compliance risks.
Monitor chemical inventory, shelf life, storage conditions, and maintain accurate records, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and regulatory documentation.
Assess chemical compatibility and perform risk assessments to minimize hazards and support safe warehouse operations.
Coordinate the safe disposal of expired, obsolete, or hazardous chemicals in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and awareness training to warehouse personnel on chemical safety, hazardous material handling, PPE, and emergency response procedures.
Collaborate with Procurement, HSE, Logistics, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance, support audits, investigate incidents, and continuously improve chemical management practices.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in chemical warehouse operations, hazardous materials management, laboratory, or industrial chemical environments.
Strong knowledge of chemical properties, hazard classification, compatibility, and hazardous material handling practices.
Familiarity with applicable regulations, including GHS, IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), IMDG Code, ADR, and local regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in interpreting and applying Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and implementing safe chemical storage and segregation practices.
Experience conducting chemical risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, hazardous waste management, and environmental compliance.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
